They were looking for Project Manager with a strategic mind-set who was able to oversee projects at an operational level.
John was working as a Site Manager, after relocating to NZ from South Africa with his young family. In South Africa he managed projects at a strategic level, including programming and cost management.
He was looking for a new challenge and the new employer would provide the management and responsibility John was looking for, with John providing the strategic, technical knowledge they required at a management level.
