Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor - PQS - Auckland
Are you an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking for a fresh start or a Senior looking for a new challenge?
Our client is a national multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in Quantity Surveying and Project Management services. They are now looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can bring local experience, contacts and build a strong QS team to match their growing workload. They have operated in the Auckland market for over 20 years and pride themselves on a low turnover of staff; and the career opportunities they can offer their employees. They work closely with developers and banks, and specialise in bank funding work as well as traditional PQS work. The successful candidate will have excellent local contacts and enjoy business development and building relationships.
After securing an excellent pipeline of projects across residential, commercial, government, education sectors; as well as being specialists in weathertightness and remediation projects, they are interviewing immediately.

The successful candidate will have the following:
Strong experience in Auckland market as a Quantity Surveyor
PQS or main contractor background will be considered, although PQS preferred
Quantity Surveying qualification essential
Comfortable in client-facing role
Experience in pre and post contract QS duties
Proactive approach to building relationships and solving problems
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Experience in co-ordinating commercial teams, as well as subcontractors and labour on site
